ToltraVet Poultry 2.5% – Easy, Effective Treatment for Coccidiosis

ToltraVet Poultry 2.5% is a liquid treatment added to drinking water to help control and treat coccidiosis in chickens. It targets all the major coccidia species that affect poultry, helping protect bird health and reduce losses.

How to Dose

ToltraVet is dosed based on the total liveweight of the flock.

• Dose rate: 7 mg toltrazuril per kg of bodyweight per day
  → This equals 0.28 mL ToltraVet per kg of bird
• Treat for 2 days in a row

Example:
For every 1000 kg of birds, use 280 mL ToltraVet per day.

Depending on bird age and water intake, this often works out to around 1 L ToltraVet per 1000 L of drinking water, but you should always check actual water consumption and adjust the dose accordingly.

How to Mix (Soft vs Hard Water)

Soft water:

• Add the full daily dose to the amount of water the flock drinks in 24 hours
• Replace with fresh medicated water after the first 24 hours

Hard water:

• Add the daily dose to the amount of water the flock drinks in 8 hours
• After 8 hours, switch back to unmedicated water for the remaining 16 hours
• Repeat on day two
